Trying again:

I am looking for the father of George W. Colter/Coulter who married Caroline
Musselman on 8 Nov 1846 in Musingum Co., Ohio.

ON THE 1850 MUSKINGUM CO., OH CENSUS THEY HAD
1850 Musingum Co., Ohio
George W. Coulter age 26 BORN IN VA
Caroline (she was born Musselman) age 23
George W. Coulter born in Ohio --- age 1
Margaret MUSSELMAN-Caroline's mother

ON THE 1860 LICKING CO. OHIO they had:
George W. Coulter age 36---BORN IN VA
George W. age 12
Margaret age 9
Caroline age 7
Lewis age 9
Caroline MANKIN age 13 born in OH---Could this be a clue? WHO IS SHE?

In his 1894 Obituary and on his son's death certificate, it said George was
born in District of Columbia--Washington, DC.

Any help in tracing this COULTER family is welcomed.
