Hi list members,

I am seeking to find someone whom descends from this line as I have little information to go on.

I have a Gus J. Coulter born Feb. 3, 1892 in Linn County, MO. He died Jan 9, 1967 in Hutchinson, Reno Cnty., KS.

His biological mother was Nannie J. Mace whom married Robert Smith. She had three boys all about 10 yrs apart. I don't know if she was married to a Coulter prior to Mr. Smith or if he was adopted or what. I do know her other son's knew of him. I do know he was at the estate to claim his share. He is listed on the estate papers as a son. She died when my great grandfather was just twelve so no one living knows much about this.

I have researched census and found he was married two times.

Gus first married Fae Unknown in MO. On the 1920 Census he shows to have two children Ruth and James. According to his second wife's obit he married a Marjorie J. Berkshire July 10, 1947 at Trenton, MO.

Does any of this sound familiar? Are you related? Can you help me with this mystery?
