I am searching for information about Robert Rutherford Coulter,
born 17 Sep 1854 in Washington county, IL. He is the son of
John Wylie Coulter and Maragret Sophia McDill, grandson of
Robert Stuart Coulter and Isabella Wylie.
Several resources list him as born in Coulterville. But I have
not found any evidence that his parents lived there. His father
is listed on the 1850 IL census as living with parents in Washington
county. My goal is to find his and his siblings birthplaces.
I have found Robert in his later years in CO and TN and would
gladly exchange this information for info about his early years in IL.
