Gus J. Coulter born Feb. 3, 1892 in Eversonville, Linn County, MO. Mother was Nannie Mace Smith. She most likely was married to his father prior to her marriage to Smith. I'm trying to figure this part out.

Gus married two times. First to Fae and had three children, Ruth E., James B., and Alice M. They were living in Jackson Township, LInn County, MO in 1930 Census.

He died Jan. 9, 1967 in Hutchinson KS. He was survived by his second wife, Marjory Berkshire whom he married July 10, 1947 in Trenton, MO. He was also survived by brothers Ira and Jay Smith. Children, James of Kansas City at that time. Mrs. Alice Stone of Kansas City in 1967. And his last child was Mrs. Ruth Campbell of Chula, MO in 1967.

He was a bricklayer and lived in Hutchinson for 25 years prior to his death.
