Does anyone have any information on a Matilda Coulter who was a barmaid in
Aldershot, HANTS. I have no idea of age or birth place, but she gave birth
to an illegitimate son there in 1923. There is another Coulter family in the
same area, that originated in Newcastle, but having scoured the GRO Indexes,
I have been unable to find her birth or a later marriage for her and have
been unable to link her with this other family.

I have some fascinating Army records for the other family, so if you are
related, it could be your lucky day! These are for two Alexander Coulters,
one from Newcastle (b 1891 Newcastle) and the other who could be his father
(b Scotland).
