In 1900, 28 yr old Susie Coulter is found on census living with/boarding with Thomas Chain, his brother, Charley, a 12 yr old boy, last name Swor, and a 41 yr old Wesley Barnes. Tom Chain married Nora Flynt. Charley never married (it is reported he came down with what was probably polio and was in a wheelchair the rest of his life).

Does anyone know who Susie Coulter was and why she was living with the Chain brothers. The Chains connect to the Rutlands, Dykes, Tews, McLeods, McKenzies, Lees, Clarks, just to name a few of the Covington families.
