I bought a big stack of old photos at a flea market near Pittsburgh, Pa., a few years ago and unfortunately only one is identified. It's a photo taken in Charleroi, Washington Co., Pa., of a child, and on the back of the photo it says "For Jennie From Mrs. Coulter". There are photos of several other children who resemble this one and probably are siblings. There are also a pair of photos which I suspect are the parents Mr. & Mrs. Coulter due to some resemblance to the children; those two photos were made by Highgate [studio], Charleroi. Some other photos in the stack were made in Pittsburgh [Allegheny Co.], Canonsburg [Washington Co.], Kittanning [Armstrong Co.] and in Butler County, Pa., Boston, Mass., and Kenton, Ohio. I'm hoping that some of these place names will match locations associated with a Coulter family of Charleroi.
