I am looking for April Coulter who has ties to Kennedy's from Indiana. In 1999 she posted the following message on the Kennedy surname page:

It is my understanding that my grandmother's family came from Indiana. I have very little to go on. I don't even know my Greatgrandfather's name. I know her family was not very well to do and she married a Chet Coulter before getting divorced. I received some information from a "Kennedy" family regarding a family reunion in Montana(?) for sometime last Summer but I don't know if they were legit. The only hint I have is that there was something about a rift between brothers and that's it. If anybody out there can help, that would be GREAT!

I am from Indiana and my this sounds like my family. I had a pretty good database of information but through a divorce and a couple of computer crashes, I lost everything and need to start from scratch. If you are this April, email me at to try to see if we have any ties. Maybe I can recover some of my lost info.

My family is from southern Indiana, Illinois, and various other parts of the country. There was a rift in the family sometime in the 50's or 60's. My dad (Deceased) is Elmer Dale Kennedy, son of Perl Henry Kennedy (d1969 ?). I have hard records that are packed away that I will be digging out to begin my reconstruction and will have more info later.
