Elaine,

I'm posting two notices for the Czech lists to you direct as at present I can recieve things but I have tried 3 times to post these and they come back undeliverable. Could you please post them to the lists? THANKS

Frances Hrdina

I have got the death certificates for these two people who are my great
grandparents.

They are buried in the Bohemian National Cemetary.

Anna died Oct 5 1920 and Joseph Oct 28 1894. Anna was from Seretin, Bohemia and her father was Tomas Vyduna.

If anyone is going to the cemetary sometimes (not now - I know an Illinois winter - I grew up there) and could take photos of the tomb =
stones for me or find the obits in the newspaper I would much apprecite
it.

Chicago is a long way from Australia.

Angelizing of foriegn names still happen. Few people here manage to
spell Hrdina correctly till I jump up and down. I must hsve left out
the e or a or even i after the H.

Years ago when we still were getting lots of czech migrants (after the =
Prague Spring) here one was working for our electricity authority and =
spoke to me in czech cause of the last name. He was most disappointed I =
didn't speck czech.
