Hi Frances,
I saw your posting requesting for someone to look for relatives for you while at the Bohemian National Cemetery. If no one does this for you
before I make one of my fairly frequent trips to Chicago, I will look for you. I have already told Elaine that I would look up her relatives, and
hey, what's a few more?
I'll print out your info and keep it handy. I would be happy to take photos for you also. Hopefully by then I'll have a scanner! The cemetery
is really something. The main gates to it look like one of the Czech castles, and I'm sure our ancestors tried to recapture their remembered
Czech architecture. It's a very lovely cemetery with MANY statues. I plan to return and take more of my family with me. I won't be back up
there though until this spring or summer.
Take care. I know how much this would mean to me, as I just recently found my Czech family buried there this last summer!
Robin
