I really am beginning to believe that my ggrandparents were dropped from a
UFO: I am looking for John Kolenik from Austria married to Marie Istenik of
Bohemia who came to the U.S. with their 2 year old son, John, In 1880 -
settled in NYC

My grandmother was born in Austro Hungary in the town of Kohavy(Kohany?) in
1889 while her parents were visiting relatives: Susannah Skvarla born on
march 19, 1889; baptized on March 24. Father: John Skvarla; Mother:
Elizabeth Kurza(second Marriage) V.Secovciach is stamped on the baptismal
certificate-is this a diocese?
