Hi Virginia,

I didn't have any luck with the variety of spellings I tried. I know some
folks claim that all the names on passenger lists are spelled correctly, but
many of my family surnames weren't even close. Also, the lists themselves
are sometimes in poor condition. You may want to go to the library and take
a look for yourself. You may think of variations I didn't!
