Sonia, You can get the Denni Hlasatel obit index by way of the Czech and
Sovak of Am. Genealogy Soc. of Ill. http://www.csagsi.org/ It is
sold
in soft cover book or CD. 1891-1995
I have copies of them. Could I look someone up for you?
Once you have the date etc. you can request copies of the obit from the
Illinois State Historical Library
Old State Capital Buildiing
Springfield, Il. 62701
There is a $1.00 search fee for Ill residents and $10. for out of state- which
doesnt seem fair, but oh well. Send a S.A.S.E. and they are pretty prompt
sometimes only a week, but usually a month.
It seems most Ill. Libraries have these papers and you can make copies of the
obits yourself.
