Greetings Listers,

I am writing to ask for your help in locating a village. I have a letter
written to my great grandmother from her brother in 1922. Sadly, the
envelope is no longer with the letter. However, twice in the letter he does
refer to his location. Once he says he is staying with "Joseph Schwarzmeier,
Heger in Oberhammer, Post Weissensulz, Bohemia"; and also in the letter he
mentions moving "with my daughter to Oberhammer by Schmerlau[?]". I have
used the Jewish Shetlseeker only to find more than one Oberhammer. Does the
other information he provided help deduce which Oberhammer he was living
in?? Would greatly appreciate your help with this mystery!!

Also, is anyone out there researching a Joseph and Franziska Schwarzmeier??
This letter is my only knowledge of them and would like to know more.
