A friend of mine, Lou Schindler, says his family came from
Prachatitz,
Bohemia.
I don't know the Czech spelling of that place name. Lou has the
Prachatitz
Heimat Book. I haven't seen it yet but if it is like other Heimat
books it
has a list of the people who lived in that place in 1945 with their
house
numbers. It is a pretty fair assumption that any Schindlers there
at that
time were direct descendants from the earliest Schindlers who settled
there.
Prachatitz is in the Bohemian Forest in Western CR.

Of list I will send you an interesting collection of Email about the
famous
Schindler's List Schindler but you have to send me your Edress, I
already
deleted the digest it was in.
