To Molly Schweinfurter -
Usually the designation of "Post Weissensulz" means that Weissensulz is the
nearest post office, and is a means of identifying a town when there is more
than one of the same name.
For example, my father's village was Kleinbosig, lezste poste Weisswasser,
meaning Weisswasser was the nearest town with a post office. There was more
than one Kleinbosig in Bohemia at the time (still is!).
However, and this is a big however, Oberhammer and Weissensulz are nowhere
near each other. Oberhammer is 57 miles NE of Prague, and Weissensulz is 86
miles WSW of Prague. Sorry! Perhaps someone more acquainted with the
villages in Bohemia could help you.
