Very good question, John! Why isn't the FHL Catalog on the SLC web site the
latest one issued in March 2000 on CD?

Darned if I know!

We've asked SLC why it isn't on - they don't know.
We've asked SLC when they are going to change it and take the old one off? -
they don't know! And mind you, this is one of their own Family History
Centers asking the questions.

I've worked at the local Danville Stake FHC since the day it opened, some 6-7
yrs ago. It's in Alamo, CA, and it's one of the finest I've seen - 7
computers, all networked with SLC, and all on the Internet. But we still
have to explain to everyone who wants to use the FHL Catalog that they should
use the CD instead - that it is more up-to-date, and has a lot more
information. Try that on for size!
