Alan,

I am not new to genealogy, but I am new to researching my Czech ancestors.
I was wondering if the name BAXA and BAXY could be the same name. I am
descended from Magdalena, the daughter of Vaclava BAXY, a farmer from Jezov.
Vaclava was married to Majdaleny, birth name KALINOVE from Jezov.

Magdalena BAXY married Petr KADERA, a farmer from Jezov, son of Vojtecha
KADERY and his wife Markety, birthname VITKOVY from TLUCNE.
