Hello, Marek, Lars and Rosie,

As an aside to the name of the organization you are looking for in Koreny
(roots) the newletter of the Czech and Slovak American Geneology Society of
Illinois (on the web) Vol 5 no 2 winter 2001 there is an article on Urban
Social and cultural life of Bohemian Immigrants (forgive this but I am keen
to insure my references are spot on) which on page 15 gives headings for
Czech-American Organizations from Denni Htasatel in 1907. There were 281
listed. I have found it helpful when trying to work out the names of the
organizations my great aunts and uncles belonged to.
