Inge,
My experience is limited but I was very pleased with obtaining the
assistance of a genealogical researcher in Plsen which is the archival area
for the southwest Czech Republic. Working with a researcher has the
advantages of your being in e-mail contact if questions need be answered and
I think that the results are obtained more quickly. The cost of obtaining
records of birth and marriage of my great grandparents and the birth dates
of their children was about $250 U.S. I had the results in 2-3 months
after the initial inquiry and was very pleased with the results. In
addition, should I wish to obtain additional information that extends beyond
my great grandparents, I have someone who can perform the investigation.

a application for research for before 1900 to the Czech ministry of
interior. I'm wanting to find what ever is possible as far back it is
possible, starting with my Grandmother and Grandfather.

siblings or where the parents where from.

the records are in Litomerice.

records are also in Litomerice. I also have the dates of their birth and the
date when they got married. And like I said, I also have the names of their
parents. But that's all.

researcher or the Czech ministry?

way?????????
