Hi Mike,
as Katie already said, there is a village of Mirosov near Rokycany in Plzen
area. In spite of that there are a few other Mirosov's in the Czech
Republic, I think you share with Katie the same ancestral village, because
the other name you mention, Rakasan, is very close in pronunciation to the
town of Rokycany.
