Someone told me that one could get the same social security information
by going through the "freedom of information" office at almost no cost.
Is anyone familiar with the details of this route?

Hi Judy, they had a price increase on June 30 or July 31 -- sometime
during
the summer....yep big increase!! Guess they were getting a lot of
requets
and decided to see if tripling the price would cut down on the
requests!!!

Could we write/call our congressmen -- Richard Baker, who is my
Representative does a great job and is always answering my questions
and/or sending me the information on the material I request.
