Hello,
Thank you for all the prompt answers to my e-mail to Devon-L. That was my
first attempt and now I realize I worded my question wrongly.
What I was after was information regarding the family before they
emigrated. My g,grandfather was Robert Quance born c1828, but I have been
unable to verify this. I thought if I knew where they were before
emigrating, I might have a better chance to find Robert's christening. I
do know that some of the family were christened in Newton St. Petrock under
the name Squance.
I have checked the IGI and Ancestral file but with no luck. Any help with
this problem is greatly appreciated.
