Hello again,
I have received several replies privately to my request for information
regarding my Robert Quance c1828 but it seems that I need to add more
information to my request.
John Quance married Mary White in Shebbear in1807
Their Children:-
William c1808 Shebbear,
John c1810 Shebbear
Elizabeth c 1812 Newton St. Petrock
Hugh c1814 Shebbear
Richard c 1821 Thornbury (Squance)
Rebecca c1824 Thornbury (Quance)
Robert c1828 ?
Francis c1829 ?
James c 1830 ?
The family less William , Hugh and James emigrated to Canada in 1843. I
have proof of their existence in Canada . However I haven't any idea
which port they left from or where they arrived when they got here.
I have the 1851 census for Devon and also the 1881 census for Britain,
which is helpful locating extended family, but my family were in Canada by
that time.
Any help solving this problem is very much appreciated.
