Hi all. I just felt I should let everyone who helped me out with QUICK
1851 census searches know that I received the birth certificate for my
great x 2 grandmother Mary Jane Quick born July 29, 1847 in Plymouth.
Some of you may remember there were two possible families. She belongs to
the parents William H. Quick and Ann Travers (born in Bridport, Dorset).
This means that Mary J. Quick must have been mistranscribed as Mary I.
Quick in the electronic version of the census.

Now I'm trying to track down her father, William H. Quick. All I know is
that, based on his age in 1851, he was born 1815-1816 in Harbertonford,
Devon. Where do I look next? Would my local LDS have the parish
registers? What is the name of the parish?

Thanks!
Graeme Boocock
