Dear List
I would like to ask if anyone has any suggestions regarding the following.
I have just found out that in my line, my gggrandfather Thomas Couch was
born in Langtree in about 1799 - 1800, or so it says on the Lincs census of
1851 where I found him.
I have searched the I.G.I on the LDS site. I see that Langtree records have
been included in same, but there is no mention of my Thomas Couch. I have
searched using the batch number C051301 also, and have got no Couch returns
at all.
Can SKS tell me,
1. if you have the I.G.I , is this Thomas Couch on it, from Langtree
or.
2. If Langtree was a reference point so to speak that Thomas Couch used on
his census return in 1851, where else could he have been born... ie.
neighbouring parises etc.
I am new to Devon research, so any help would be really apprecaited.
Many thanks in advance
Steven Merrick.
