Thanks to all who responded and gave me encouragement. Unfortunately most
of the respondees suggested that I go to my local Family History Center.
That I have a problem with. It is over an hour away and I have a 1 year
old and trying to get time away to go there is near to impossible.
Especially now that the garden is producing and pickling time is upon us.

I once again thank everyone who responded and hopefully someone will take
pity on me and check their 1861 or 1871 census for the Devon area,
especially around Egg Buckland.
