Dear Bob,

Thanks but no. I've been through all the normal spellings for James
Eveleigh (b. 1859 in Tiverton, we think) (Eveley; Evely) in the 1881 census
but can't find him anywhere. I've even tried dropping the initial 'E',
spelling it Yvely, etc., with no luck. Any other ideas?

Cheers
Annette
