Hello,
I have nothing pertaining to William LANG but it
reminded me of stumbling across a websiste some years
ago that contains info about Newgate Prison:
http://www.fred.net/jefalvey/home.html
Scroll down to the prison link, and on the next page,
there is a link toward the bottom -- "names"; click on
that to view the list from 1606.
The whole thing is pretty gruesome and I hope no one
finds an ancestor there!
Best Regards,
Violet Sunderland
