Hi all,

Thanks to Derek [] I may have a way to find
Peter BARTLETT's p.o.b. abt. 1810.
Derek put me on to the Board of Trade Registers of Seamen and I found
the appropriate FHC films. Today I ordered them so fingers are crossed.
I don't know if fishermen were included in those registers but I guess
I'll find out in a week or two. Place of birth, father etc were recorded.
Meanwhile I shall unsubscribe from the Devon list but if Peter was born
in Plymouth, I'll be back. Thanks to all those kind people who offered
help - it was much appreciated.
Deborah [] sent me some possible links as did
Bev and Clive. Thanks to you all.

If you take a look at my website [below] you might find you have another
snippet you can help me with ... Well, I can dream, can't I?
