Hello Val

I read your message with interest. Do you know which part of Dorset your
garndfather came from? I note that you mention a Squire Cox. I have COX
ancestors from Wool, but I don't think any of them were elevated to the rank
of squire. My lot only emigrated as far as Yorks. Saddleworth to be exact,
although I have recently found a GEORGE COX who became a cab proprietor in
London.

Rgds Frank from Marsden still in the (WRY).
Researching;
CROFT(Wortley,Sheff).
DUNSMORE (Harby,Leicstershire)
BOLTON,FAINT,PILL,BAILEY,(London)
WARREN(N.Ferriby ERY, & Eton/Windsor,Bucks).
REED(Alkboro, Lincs)
SINGLETON(Golbourne, Lancs, Wortley,Leeds).
STEAD,WHITEHEAD(Marsden,Crosland,Meltham,Hudds).
KIRBY(Middleton on the Wolds,Manchester,Saddleworth).
COX,GRANT,KELLAWAY,RUNYARD(Wool,Dorset.Saddleworth, Yorks).
