Registers of petitions in bankruptcy at those county courts which have
bankruptcy jurisdiction are held locally, not by the P.R.O. Notices of
bankruptcy proceedings at such courts would have appeared in a local
newspaper, which might also have carried an article.
Perhaps s.k.s. would advise you of the present-day relevant court (unless,
of course, it is specified in The Times report).

Can someone more knowledgable on this list help me?
The Times Newspaper dated 6th July 1895 states that in The County Court
Adjudications (Bancruptcies) CHISLETT, Hubert Ware and LEWIS, Arthur
Wellesley Neyes, Poole. yacht and launch builders.
Obviously Bancruptcy had been filed - but how do I get the records now -
where might they be?,
Also is anyone on the list a descendant?
Hubert Ware CHISLETT was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1860 the youngest
known son of William Oakley CHISLETT (Milborne Port 1827) and Ann Martha
BLANCHARD (Poole 1830).
His partner Arthur LEWIS was born in South Australia c1858 the son of
Thomas
Lewis (Echfold, Wilts 1828) and Jessie (Yarmouth I-O-W).
I haven't traced Hubert Chislett on the 1881 Census, he must have been
abroad
- I know from the Dorset Directories from 1885 to 1896 that he and Arthur
were Boat Builders in Poole.
I also know that in 1909 Hubert Ware CHISLETT was the Harbour Master at
Poole.
Thankyou for reading this
Janet
