Hello Val, Frank et al,
The names Cox and Aplin were common in Beaminster in West Dorset. The
COX family were very big and involved in everything in the town in the
past: the APLIN name still exists, particularly in the form of Aplin &
Barret in Beaminster, who are food manufacturers I believe.
