Hello everybody,

I am a transcriber on the FreeBMD project which aims
to transcribe full references for certificates of
Births, Marriages and Deaths in England and Wales for
the period
1837 - 1899. These references are then made available
for general use through the Internet.

If you require further information, please refer to
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com

It occurred to me that there may be people that have
collected such references during their research but
who are not part of this project.

If you are indeed such an individual and would not
mind having your references published, I would gladly
enter these references on your behalf.

In order to save time, I would be very grateful to
have the information in the following format:

For births/marriages:

Year, Quarter, Last Name, First Name(s), Registration
District, Volume, Page
e.g. 1883,Sep,Cook,Charles,Sevenoaks,2a,500

For deaths, an extra age field is necessary (when
known), so the format is:
Year,Quarter, Last Name, First Name(s), Age,
Registration District, Volume, Page
e.g. 1887,Dec,Brooks,Gavin,80,Sevenoaks,2a,800

If you don't have the age, just leave it blank.

As a matter of courtesy, I am happy to make a
reference to yourself to indicate who originally
collated the data.
Please indicate if you wish me to include your name in
this reference.

I look forward to your reactions.

Many thanks,

Stephen Randall
