You can't actually look up birth certifcates. The only way you can obtain
them is by sending money!

You can either go via Stockport (via the internet and paying with a credit
card if you wish) For this you will need the volume and page number as you
have indicated.

Alternatively you can write directly to the register office in Weymouth.You
will need to enclose a sterling cheque for 6 GB pounds 50 pence and a self
addressed envolope with either GB stamps or 2 international reply coupons.
Local Registry offices do not take credit cards. You do not need the volume
& page number for this as this means nothing to a local registrar. Give
name, date and place. Write to
