Hi Helen:

The reason this intrigued my interest is the fact that when you went to
the CRO for
me and looked up the MOtyer name in St George's cemetary, one of the
grave markers
indicated a Thomas Motyer perished in the ice attempting to reach shore
of the
coast of Newfoundland. Now this family were either carpenters,
Agricultural Labourers
or classified as mariners thus my interest. I of course have no idea why
he was there,
maybe fishing or maybe immigrating to Canada.
Just something to add mystery to the puzzle.
