This may prove more nuisance than help but I have found that new names
often provide new links.
I have two Smiths marrying into my lines.

George = Ann Dorey 6th May 1798. Witnesses James Hood and Lucy Bennett.
Ann was from East Holme but I wouldn't let that worry you; I have
another of my East Holme ancestors marrying into a Bushey family.

Sarah Smith b. Wargate = Jesse Benjamin Dorey b. Kingston about 1864.
Not a million miles from Bushey.

serendipity will strike.
