Hi I have just joined this list
I am wondering why I cannot find any record of Batch numbers for Dorset??
Please bear with me if this is a silly question but I am just learing to
use batch nmbers and must admit I got a jolt when I could not find any
Dorset numbers

I am looking for SIMMS/SIMS family who had a son Joseph born 1833c.
I do not know in which county, so I am checking all I can access.
Big job you say, well I have been looking for Joseph who is my
G.Grandfather for about 15 years now
I have got him well documented here in Australia but want to find out where
he came from???

Looking forward to any bit of information
