Subject: Looking for Warren Graham Dutton

I recently found out about the Duttons in Santa Rosa, California.
Cousin Warren Dutton owns a
ranch called the Dutton Ranch. He has two sons, Joseph and Steve and
they grow grapes and apples and make two very good wines - Chardonnay
and Pinot Nior under the name of Dutton Ranch or Sebastopol Winery.
(Their wine was mentioned in a recent article of the "Wine Spectator.")
His father's name was Reed Dutton. His great grandfather, or uncle,
came from Ohio to California during the Gold Rush and stayed and was one
of the founders of a small town called Tomales. It is located near
Tomales Bay which is in Marin County (where I live). His name was
Warren Graham Dutton and he died in 1909. He doesn't know where in Ohio
Warren Graham was born or anything else. I emailed him to see if he
would give me a few more details, but he hasn't responded. He and his
wife were very nice to my husband and me, but he didn't seem too
interested in tracing his family history back to Ohio and possibly
Pennsylvania. He also said that the Dutton Ave in the San Francisco
East Bay is also his family. My great-great-grandfather, Issac Booth
Dutton, came to California in 1849 also but he took his fortune ($500)
back to Ohio and then returned many years later to Elsinor which is now
Los Angeles.
So, does anyone know where Warren Graham Dutton fits into the family
tree?
Thanks.
Sheila Dutton
