Deodatus Dutton found on Dick Dutton's Master File,
born 4 Oct 1777, E. Haddam, CT; died 2 Dec 1860, Brookfield.

If he was age age 83 in 1860 Little Canada, Minnesota, a
calculated birth date would be 1777. The date of the 1860 census
was 11 July 1860. He was with J. H. Dutton age 39 (b. 1821),
apparently a son or relative. Was Brookfield in Minnesota or
Connecticut? J. H. Dutton was worth 10,000, a goodly sum for
the period.

I am interested because my grandfather and great-grandfather had
a middle name of Ometa. Deodatus's father was Amasa
