This is something that Bob Velke would have to address. Most people (at
least in the US) only know the Russell Soundex system (and many don't know
it well). There are many different soundex systems many of which are
slight variations of the Russell system. Most of the other systems
(including at least one for use with Native American names) are really
attempts to get around the problem of different languages. My guess is
that Bob might not be averse to adding this capability _IF_ a sufficiently
large group of users asked for the feature. The problem is not adding it,
but satisfying the greatest number of users. My guess is that it will
not be in FTST very soon and possibly not in TMG v5.0. As for a later
version of either, that is possible.
