I have imported a number of TMG data sets into an FTST project. This is the definition of a project in the FTST help file:

A project is comprised of many interrelated files but is identified by a single file with a .PJC file extension. A project contains one or more data sets and may be stored on any accessible drive and folder.

My data files are interrelated at a number of common people and I expected to be able to mark them as common or merge these people then to be able to print reports spanning both sides of the union. My tests of the data indicate that the one data set knows nothing about the other data set.

How do I relate these datasets with each other so that I can use the combined dataset (project) for research and report printing?
