I can't reproduce it either Astrid.

Since I reported this bizarre behavior, I changed the Button Assignment for
the wheel from WebWheel to AutoScroll. I don't recall that I clicked the
wheel button at all while in the picklist window, but perhaps the mere
presence of the WebWheel assignment somehow caused what I saw.

For future reference;

OS: W98
Mouse: LogiTech Corded Optical Mouse
Model#: M-BJ58
MouseWare Version: 9.41

I think we should consider this problem closed for now. It if should
happen again, I'll report it to this list.
