The problem is that sometimes I don't know the first name of the person (say
I'm looking for them based on birth date), or I don't know for sure the
correct spelling, or maybe I'm just a terrible typist <g> and would like to
use the page up, page down, and arrow keys to hone in on the name. I very
rarely use the type in the name method to find a person; I guess this is the
lazy person's way.

So, assuming I still want to use this method, am I right that I now have to
reach for the mouse to get the cursor into the picklist? The least typing
for me the better. Thanks for your response.

Dennis - If you want to go to Frank Smith, hit the Picklist hot key twice
(just as you do in TMG), i.e., F2, F2. Then type in the name. The name
will be hightlighted in the list. Just hit enter and it will open up the
Person View for that person. No need to scroll down through the Smiths or
any other surname as long as you know the first name you are searching for.
