Mike & Richard,
Many thanks for your replies. Unfortunately the outside world rudely
intruded upon my FTST investigations and I am only returning today, so
my apologies for not replying to you both earlier.
The Exhibits Log takes me roughly 30 seconds to fire up (a LONG time
subjectively and if you are trying to follow a sequence of thoughts on
the screen). The images I have there often stimulate associated ideas
which I would like to follow up - eg: how have I recorded X's wedding
(when viewing a picture of wedding guests) or such like) so I felt it
would be helpful to have some 'look-up capability' whilst in the
Exhibit's Log. Similarly it would be nice to be able to open more than
one Exhibit Log, so that images can be both compared and dragged and
dropped into Slide Show Manager.
The whole thing is made significantly worse by the fact that BOTH the
Exhibits Log and SSM take approx. 30 secs EACH to load, so closing and
opening them is very tedious. (This only happens on my main computer,
my laptop behaves much more sensibly).
Best wishes
Nick
