I tested this, and got the same result. I switched my browser from MSIE to
Netscape by letting Netscape switch settings for me. I checked that Netscape
was truly the default browser by opening some ".HTM" files from Windows
Explorer; Netscape opened, so as far as I can tell, it is (was!) my default
browser. FTST, however, used MSIE for web searches. I hacked around a bit and
couldn't find a way to make FTST use Netscape. I did not de-install MSIE.

I am not sure what FTST will do if there is no MSIE installed. I won't even
guess, having been burned recently while guessing <g>.
