David,
I believe it is a matter of style. In the past when you looked at a
parent-child tag the surety level always appeared in the Principal #1
position. Now it appears to be the case that when you look at the
relationship from the parents point of view the parent is Principal #1 and
the surety value is there. When you look at it from the child's side of the
relationship then the child is principal #2 and therefore the surety value
should be in the second position. It all seems logical to me.
