I have about 4000 folks in my database and the other sorts take about 2
to 3 seconds.
I will let Tech Support know my problem.

| It doesn't seem to be a problem for me. How many persons in your
| Project? If there are many, you may not be giving it enough time for
| finish the sort. I have about 36,000 persons and it takes about 5
seconds
| on my system (866Mhz). If this is not describe your situation, I
suggest
| contacting Tech Support.
