I was having the same problem of surnames not printing even though the
surname was on the screen. I have been playing with it from sometime trying
to get it to print properly, with no success until I read Terry's suggestion
to adjust slightly the width of the box that was not printing correctly.

I tried Terry's suggestion and it worked!
