Bob -
I've had similar problems. During the installation the wizard comes to a page where the installation directory is specified. If you do have space on another drive or partition, you can change the location from that screen. It can be done. You still need sufficient space on C: for temporary files that are copied/created during the installation, though, and after the installation there is a very large ".msi" file (the size of the downloaded FTST installation file) left behind in the C:\windows\installer directory (I'm running an old Windows95 laptop). That file can be deleted, but it contains information needed to uninstall FTST. If it is deleted, you can uninstall by re-running the FTST installation executable file, and choosing the operation to uninstall FTST from the setup screen there.

I just wanted to mention that I have been unable to install FTST
because of the ridiculous requirement for 100Mb of free space on the
C: drive. I'm running on a laptop and don't have that space available
on my C: drive. I could make it available someplace else such as on my
g: drive, but it doesn't give me that option.
